As we grow to know people, we can end up taking them for granted. We may even overlook some of their most outstanding characteristics. Sadly, this can even happen in our relationship with Jesus.
In Revelation 1:5-6, the Apostle John reminds us just how amazing our Savior Jesus really is. Jesus is the faithful witness who tells us the truth about God; He is the One who leads us into eternal life; He is the supreme sovereign Ruler over all other authorities; and He is the One who loved us enough to bring us out of slavery and into life through His own death on our behalf.
Don't take Jesus for granted. Be rightly impressed with Him. Keeping His perfect sacrifice for you in the front of your mind and heart, everyday...in His grip.
...Jesus Christ, He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world. All glory to Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding His blood for us. He had made us a Kingdom of priests for God His Father. All glory and power to Him forever and ever! Amen. Revelation 1:5-6
