What I Have

I don’t have any money for you, but I’ll give you what I have. Peter

Not so long ago, if a child needed money, a parent would give it to them. Particularly, if they were in college trying to do their best. But look at these notes between a son and his dad. It sure does reflect the times we are in:

Dear Dad,

$chool i$ really great. I am making lot$ of friend$ and $tudying very hard. With all the $tuff, I $imply cannot think of anything I need. $o if you would like, you can ju$t $end me a card, becau$e I would love to hear from you,

Your $on

Dear Son,

I kNOw that astroNOmy, ecoNOmics, and oceaNOgraphy are eNOugh to keep even an hoNOr student busy. Do NOt forget that the pursuit of kNOwledge is a NOble task, and NOthing should distract you from reaching your goal.

Dad

in His grip.

Acts 3:6

Coach's tip – Even if we are right and the other person is definitely wrong, we only destroy ego by causing someone to lose face. You don’t have to be mean to be right.
